2026 Spring Flag Football

2026 Spring Flag Football- Registration Open till Feb 28/26
Flag football is played with two teams of
5-8 players who attempt to
score points by moving the ball down
the field across the goal line.
The team with the most points at the
end of regulation time is the winner.
The playing field is a rectangle usually around
60-80 yards long and 20-30 yards wide
Divisions by Year Born
U8 - January 1st, 2019 and December 20th, 2020
U10 - January 1st, 2017 and December 31st, 2018
U12 - January 1st, 2015 and December 31st, 2016
U14 - January 1st, 2013 and December 31st, 2014
U16 - January 1st, 2011 and December 31st, 2012
U19- January 1st, 2008 and December 31st, 2010
*Each team typically has 7-10 players, 2 coaches
Practices:
Tuesday and Thursday evenings 6-7:30pm
(some team practice until 8:00 PM)
Additional practice days are typically
added on Wednesday evening, or Saturdays
Practices start during spring break, in mid March
Games:
Saturdays or Sundays
The younger teams typically play in the morning;
the older teams playing in the afternoon
Jamboree format, each team plays 3-4 25 min
games back-to-back, at a single location
The location of each Jamboree changes each week
(ex. Coquitlam, UBC, Ladner, etc);
all teams play at the scheduled location for that week
March 3rd to June 8th, 2026
Flag Championships for divisions U8-U16 will be in
Kamloops on June 6 & 7th 2026.
** Families will be responsible for transportation
and all expenses for the Provincial weekend.
For players interested in playing, tournament fees
will be due by April 26th and will not be refundable.
