Flag Football Introduction
Flag football is played with two teams of 5-8 players who attempt to
score points by moving the ball down the field across the goal line.
The team with the most points at the end of regulation time is the winner.
The playing field is a rectangle usually around 60-80 yards long and 20-30 yards wide
Divisions by Year Born
U8 - children born in 2017, 2018 and 2019
U10 - children born in 2015 and 2016
U12 - 2013 and 2014
U14 - 2011 and 2012
U16 - 2009 and 2010
U19- 2008, 2007 and 2006
*Each team typically has 7-10 players, 2 coaches
Practices:
Tuesday and Thursday evenings 6-7:30pm (some team practice until 8:00 PM)
Additional practice days are typically added on Wednesday evening, or Saturdays
Practices start during spring break, in mid March
Games:
Saturdays or Sundays
The younger teams typically play in the morning; the older teams playing in the afternoon
Jamboree format, each team plays 3-4 25 min games back-to-back, at a single location
The location of each Jamboree changes each week (ex. Coquitlam, UBC, Ladner, etc); all teams play at the scheduled location for that week
Start in mid-April and end in mid June
Registration Fees:
U8 - $125 (plus $43 for BCPFA insurance fees)
All other teams: $225 (plus $43 for BCPFA insurance fees)

This is a Community club- and is 100% Volunteer run. Parents and Family Volunteer is what makes this community Club run.

Fall Tackle- Policy
If a player is injured or quits before July 31st - 100% Refund*
If a player is injured or quits before the first regular season game - 50% Refund*
After first regular season game - No Refund
*All Refunds will be charged a $30 administration fees

Steps to Registration Instructions
STEP 2- Once you are on Power up spots if your new, it will ask you to create a profile for your child.
From there, it will tell you what division to select. All the waivers are there now,
except for the Medical, which you must print off and bring to the field (security deal).
Step 3- Player/ Cheer Squad goes on wait List...
(Teams are not full, in case you see that Power up says team is full.
Club wishes to provide a different payment options not through Power up)
